Hui o Keikialiʻi — Montréal is the local chapter of Hālau o Keikialiʻi, led by Kumu Hula Kawika Alfiche. It teaches hula kahiko and hula ʻauana along with oli (chant) and mele (song), in both French and English. Kaleʻa Polynesian Dance Company teaches hula ʻauana for events and celebrations, with seasonal class sessions. Association Polynésie Canada is a different kind of listing: a non-profit founded in 2014 to promote the cultures of the Polynesian triangle more broadly. Its work spans dance and song as well as gastronomy, surf, tattoo and visual arts. Worth a look if you're after more than a weekly dance class.
